Target group
This is a course for those who require industry-leading certification in the control, maintenance and examination of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work at height and rescue. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that is intended for use with fall protection systems needs to be regularly inspected. Typical PPE for use with a fall protection systems includes a Harness (Full Body), a shock absorbing lanyard, an attachment device (Karabiner or system specific connector), a helmet designed for work at height, plus other system specific equipment. Competent person for periodic examination person who is knowledgeable of the current periodic examination requirements, recommendations and instructions issued by the manufacturer applicable to the relevant component, subsystem or system.
