Target group
Course Objective
The NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management Professionals is an advanced health and safety qualification.
For senior position in company with the NEBOSH Level 6 National Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management Professionals qualification.
Course contents
- DN1
This unit provides an in-depth understanding of the key areas for managing health and safety. It covers moral, economic and societal drivers, health and safety law and management systems.
- DN2
This unit gives an in-depth understanding of all major aspects of managing chemical, biological, physical and physiological hazards in the workplace.
- DN3
This unit provides a thorough understanding of how to create a safe working environment. It covers welfare, fire, dangerous substances, work equipment, electricity, construction and transport.

Assessment
- Each assessment is completed electronically and submitted through the NEBOSH exam portal. You'll have between 2-4 weeks to complete your assessments, and will have a dedicated start date and submission deadline.
- You must pass all three units to achieve your full NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma. Your total number of marks will determine your final qualification grade.

- The NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma is an advanced qualification. You should already understand fundamental health and safety principles such as risk assessment, hazard control, accident investigation, and key regulations.
- It is very strongly recommended to have either completed the NEBOSH General Certificate, or have at least 5 years experience working in a health and safety role.
- You’ll also need to have a good level of communication to critically analyse information and apply it to any given scenario.
