Target group
This course is designed for marine engineers and technical ship management professionals who wish to improve their knowledge and understanding of the energy conservation on board of modern marine vessels and find how it to be reached in accordance with nowadays requirements and regulations of Maritime industry.

To gain knowledge and skills related to the operation, maintenance, supervision, and monitoring of the safe and effective operation of a ship's propulsion system, in accordance with modern technologies and materials.

Module 3: Energy Efficiency Operations and Measures
  • Best practices in operation and maintenance for energy efficiency
  • Energy-efficient machinery operation, including main and auxiliary engines

  • Introduction to emerging technologies and innovations in marine engineering for energy saving
  • Application of renewable energy sources on ships
