Course contents
- Understanding the basics of welding and its principles;
- Identifying and mitigating risks associated with welding and cutting;
- Overview of various welding processes and their specific applications in marine environments;
- Detailed study of different power sources used in arc welding and their accessories;
- Information on various consumables used in welding along with relevant data sheets;
- Proper use and maintenance of protective gear for welding;
- Techniques for depositing fillet welds using high recovery electrodes;
- Understanding the air carbon arc gouging system, its applications, and associated safety measures;
- Systematic guide to setting up the air carbon arc gouging system;
- Practical techniques for gouging fillet welds using the air carbon arc gouging method.

- Practical Workshops: Supervised hands-on practice to apply learned skills;
- Modern Welding Equipment: Use of industry-standard MMA welding machines, including:
