Safety of Fishing Operations (LT)

Description of the course
Chapter III/1 “Basic safety training for all fishing vessel personnel“, Regulation 1.6 “Prevention of Shipboard Accidents“ of the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Fishing Vessels Personnel (STCW-F 1995).
Target group
The course is aimed at all fishing vessel personnel that are to serve on board sea-going fishing vessels.
Objectives of the course
The trainees who successfully complete this course will be competent to understand the fishing methods and associated fishing gear and to safely engage in fishing operation under the supervision of an experienced deckhand.

IMO Model Course No.1.33 “Safety of Fishing Operations”.
Entry Standards
Certificate, confirmed that candidate passed training courses in accordance with the provisions of Regulation VI/1 of the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW-78) as amended, and Section A-VI/1 of STCW Code (Basic Safety).
