HOW TO ENROLL?

Admission is open throughout the year!

At Novikontas Maritime College it is possible to submit documents throughout the year!

Admission to the 1st stage of study programs takes place approximately every 3 months. You can find the current dates of admission on our social media, by calling or emailing us, or by visiting the college in person.

Those who already have basic or higher maritime education can enroll at any time, as an individual study plan will be offered for each of them.

Required documents

- Secondary education certificate;
- Identity document;
- Application form (to be filled out on-site);
- 3 photos (3x4 cm);
- Determination and willingness to study!

At Novikontas Maritime College there are no entrance exams. Instead, motivation and English language proficiency of potential students are assessed through a special interview. Those who pass the interview are later sent to a medical examination.

You can submit your documents at any time because admission is open throughout the year! Groups are formed three times a year, so stay updated on the latest news on our Facebook page or contact us, and be among the first in a new team!

- Secondary education certificate;

- English language test (Marlins) with a minimum score of 60%;
- Seafarer's certificates;
- 1 photo (3x4 cm).

- Diploma of higher maritime education obtained in Latvia;
- Licence of a Navigator or a Marine Engineer;
- Seaman's Discharge book which confirms at least 18 months of seagoing service experience in the relevant position.

At the moment, Novikontas Maritime College has a partnership agreement with Swedbank, where our students can obtain a state-guaranteed loan.

Independence from parents

One of the major advantages of a maritime profession is high salary, which allows you to start an independent life at an early age immediately after completing your studies!

Paid internship

At Novikontas Maritime College, students are provided with paid Onboard training after completing the theoretical part of their studies. During this time, students gain not only valuable experience but also their first wage, which can fully cover tuition fees.

International career

We cooperate with 28 international maritime industry companies, where Novikontas Maritime College students undergo onboard training. After graduation they are able to get well-paid job on these companies' ships or on ships at any other merchant fleet companies in the world.
