Over the years, we have trained cadets not only from Latvia and the Baltic region, but from across Europe, Asia, and beyond – creating a vibrant multicultural campus.
We strongly encourage women in maritime, and we’re happy to see more female cadets joining the ranks each year, pursuing careers as ship officers and engineers with equal determination.
As a multicultural college, we welcome international students year-round, offering flexible full-time and part-time paths across all programs.
Notice for applicants holding a graduation diploma from outside the EU:
An additional step is required in the admission process for applicants who have obtained their graduation diploma outside the European Union. This includes a review of educational documents and an eligibility assessment conducted by the Academic Information Centre (AIC). The evaluation process typically takes up to one month and must be completed before proceeding with the next steps of admission – the visa procedure and the issuance of a Temporary Residence Permit (TRP).
Application fee: 300,00 EUR (non-refundable) to cover the document evaluation and associated administrative procedures.
Once the required admission documents have been received and reviewed, the Student Information Center (SIC) will proceed with preparing the study agreement.
After the study agreement is signed, new students are required to participate in the onboarding process before starting studies.
